The
Super Stock Car is being developed as a Eight Inch Tire rule on a Late Model
Chassis that is handicapped by Tire Size and Carburetor & Weight
to race with the Street Stock , If this car is superior to the present
street stock I will continue to
handicap this car to be equal with
the present street stock rules. My
Goal is to have a full field of race cars. Anyone

RULES
Engines used must
be naturally aspirated.
STEEL BLOCK

Limited
to 430 cubic inch maximum.
No fuel injection devices,
electric fuel pumps, turbo chargers, or blowers permitted.
All
engines are subjected to being pumped at any given time to ensure they are
within the cubic inch rule limit and to ensure that the race
car is under the right weight ruling.
CRATE ENGINE RULES
Unaltered sealed GM crate engines only. GM part number 88958602 (steel headed)
All crate engines must remain as they came produced from GM. Absolutely no internal or external alterations of any kind can be done to the engine. Upon inspection, any altered parts and/or different/altered/missing GM seal bolts will result in disqualification, loss of all points for the season, $1,000 fine.
No fuel injection devices, electric fuel pumps, turbo chargers, or blowers permitted.

Eligible Models
This division is limited to 1998 to present American manufactured stock car bodies.
Cars must have type of body style displayed on car with three inch (3”) minimum letters.
Example: Monte Carlo, Intrepid, Taurus,
Grand Prix
14. Wheels
Steel wide five wheels only.
Eight inch (8) width maximum.
No plastic or fiberglass wheels permitted.
Bead locks allowed.
Wheels must be mounted with lug nuts. No “knock-off” mounting devices.
All Rims Will
Have a Fixed Offset that Match the Body Width
15. Tires
The following
tires are acceptable: Hoosier 500 size 8.0-27.0-15 or American Racer
Dirt size 70/245-15 Hard.
The following tires are also acceptable: Hoosier
26.5-8x15emod hard, 27.5-8x15 emod
hard8.0-27.5-15 hard or American Racer Dirt
size 86-8x15 Hard or 84-8x15 Hard. American Racer 70/205-15 stamped "RTA"
will also be allowed.
No buffing
or taping over tire’s size or lettering.
Bodies
spec are being written for this class it will be a late model style body
that will correctly fit chassis with the Eight Tires,

will have a display car with a fully fitted Body Coming
soon.
10. Frame
The
wheel base width must be between a minimum of one hundred and three inches
(103”) and a maximum of one hundred and five inches (105”).
All
frames must be of steel construction and must be a minimum of two inches
by two inches square (2” X 2”), or rectangular with a minimum material
thickness of .083”.
If
a round tube frame is used, the tubing must have a minimum of one and
three quarter inch (1.75”) outside diameter, with a minimum material
thickness of .083 inches. These frames
must use 4130 Chrome Moly Steel or
If
the rear bumper is stubbed, it may only extend a maximum of eight inches
(8”) beyond the frame. Any stubbed rear
bumper that extends in excess of eight inches (8”) beyond the frame must
be rounded and directed eight inches towards the front of car.
No
external rub rails are permitted.
It
is recommended that all cars be equipped with a
tow hook or strap.
All
battery supports must be braced in at least two axis,
two horizontal and one vertical.
11. Roll Cage
Cars
must have a suitable steel roll cage in the driver’s compartment.
Side
roll bars are mandatory and must extend into the door panels.
A
minimum of three bars must be used on the left
side of the car.
Each
bar must be a minimum of one and one half inch (1 ½”) in diameter with
a minimum thickness
of .065”.
All
bars of the roll cage must be above the driver’s helmet.
For
all new frames built in 2006 and on, an extra vertical side brace bar of
one and one half inch (1 ½”) dia. X .065”
is required on left side in line with the steering wheel.
12. Safety
Five (5) part nylon quick release safety belts required in good condition and working order. Belts must be attached to frame of car.
Approved fire resistant driver's uniform, gloves and shoes are required. Fire resistant hoods, socks and underwear are recommended.
Full faced racing helmet with lexan shield. Snell 90 or newer.
Nylon mesh window net is recommended but not required.
On board fire extinguisher is highly recommended.
Quick release steering wheel.
No electric fuel pumps or pressurized fuel systems.
A driveline “sling” is required.
Drive shaft and weight ballast must be painted white or yellow and have car number painted on them.
Added weight or ballast must have a minimum of two 1/2" diameter bolts fastening each piece securely to a frame member.
Eighteen (18) gauge steel or one-eighth inch (1/8”) aluminum “cockpit tub” to protect front, sides and rear of driver is highly recommended.
No
batteries permitted in driver’s compartment.
13. Fuel
Systems
An approved fuel cell, thirty-two (32) gallon maximum, must be securely mounted in the trunk area of the car inside a twenty (20) gauge metal box supported by two (2) one-eighth inch (1/8”) by two inch (2”) steel straps.
All fuel cells must be completely visible from rear of car. Fuel cell is not permitted to be mounted lower than bottom of quick change rear-end.
No pressurized fuel systems permitted.
Gasoline
only is permitted. Nitrous gases or
other nitrate additives are not permitted.
16. Brakes
Must
be in good working condition with all four (4) working properly.
Only
steel brake rotors permitted.
No
plastic brake lines. Steel braided brake lines permitted.
17. Transmission, Clutch & Rear End
Any Trans or Clutch Aluminum or steel transmission permitted. (Bert or Brinn allowed).
Must have forward and reverse gears with working clutch and starter. Multi-disc clutch permitted and can be run with aluminum bell housing. Stock configuration clutch must have a full scatter shield of at least one-quarter inch (1/4”) thick steel or approved bell housing. Failure to do so will result in automatic suspension and loss of points.
No direct drive or in-out boxes permitted.
Automatic transmission permitted.
No “live-axle” rear ends permitted.
Floater “wide-five” hub assembly only is permitted.
Aluminum axle tubes allowed.
Quick-change rear ends are permitted.
Cars
with Quick Change rears CANNOT Change Gears after heat race.
18. Suspension
Front suspension must be stock configuration.
No
center steering.
Late
model suspension components may be used.
Alum or Steel Adjustable Shocks allow,
